Missing Emails
My Outlook looks like it’s working but I’m not getting emails that I used to get, or I’m on email lists but I’ve received nothing whereas others are getting the email. What is happening? The Microsoft feature ‘Focused Inbox’ might be turned on. This is an AI features that tries to separate your emails for you. It learns from your choices what is most important to you and puts them in a Focused tab that you see when you open up Outlook. All the other messages are placed in the Other tab. You will know if you have this featured turned on by the Focused tab showing above your email list. If you are interested in a feature like this, all you need to do is continue to use it. It will learn over time, and place those emails that are important into your Focused folder. To find all your other emails, simply click on the Other tab. This is not for everyone, and that is okay. If you would prefer to see all your email in one place, then simply click on ‘View’ in the menu bar, then click on ‘Show Focused Inbox’ . The tabs above the email list will change back to All and Unread, and you should see the full list of emails in your email list.
